Product Description
The Name Says it All! PIAAs Intense White bulbs produce a more radiant white beam without any hint of blue. This bulb has been completely re-engineered from the ground up. What youll see in the 9005 and 9006 bulbs is a larger glass tube with a white top coat. The larger glass tube increases output (28% whiter color than STAR WHITE) and allows the bulb to burn at much cooler temperatures. PIAAs new Intense White Bulbs provide the best possible balance between performance and bulb life.

I received these for Christmas and installed them in my Civic (as lowbeams) shortly afterward. These look so much better than the stock Sylvanias. The light is white with a slight iridescent look to it. I don't really notice a difference in how well they light up the street, but aesthetically, I love them.

I got these bulbs to replace OEM bulbs. Great price on Amazon!! After I installed them, I was a little disappointed by the fact that they were not as blue as I would have liked, but I must say that I can see much further into the night with these bulbs!! They are more white, but a little over on the yellow side. Not super pure white like an LED or penetrating like the xenon bulb HID I had on my prior vehicle. I think that these bulbs are a conservative upgrade for those looking for more output with a minimum of "in your face" factor. It's for those who do not want to put a ballast and bulb set up for a stock headlight housing (which, from personal experience produces glare due to a housing not designed to work with the HID bulb light refraction characteristics). Plus, they don't bring undue attention (well, that's to be seen).
Overall, I would buy them again for the light output alone, though had I the choice would have opted for the more blue cast for my personal preference. I saw some in the store by RAZO that I think may have fit the bill, but these bulbs were over $40.00 less, including shipping. Not a bad deal, if you ask me, for more light output and a subtle but noticeable change in color of the light.

My older Saturn vehicle's 9006 low beams were not illuminating the road as well as many of the newer vehicles with projector / reflector lights... and obviously not as well as HID. Now first of all, let me tell you what these are not; they are not HID and nothing from Amazon or PIAA states anything different. Anyone that understands HID lights would realize this, but I noticed from many reviews that some people are really confused by this.
Now, what these 9006 low beam lights *are,* they are BRIGHT. I do not have projectors or reflector headlights, so I was hoping for a reasonably priced bulb that would make night time driving a bit safer by offering a somewhat comparative headlight illumination to newer vehicles. This bulb definitely delivers an intensely WHITE and powerful light. The bulbs do an excellent job of illuminating the road in front of you. Yeah, some of those blue-ish headlight bulbs look "neat," but they really are seem to better suited for someone that looking for that "boy racer" look rather than these brighter (and in my opinon more expensive looking) headhlight bulbs. It definitely increased the safety factor for me, and is a large and worthwile improvement over the previous OEM Sylvania bulbs I had.
For under $50 with free shipping, I highly recommend these bulbs.

I'm extremely happy with the PIAA Intense White - 9006 bulbs. I purchased these as a replacement to my fading OEM lights and could not be more impressed with the product. They are very bright compared to the OEM bulb and have a satisfying white output. Not blue, not cheap, just intense white, as advertised. I know there are some issues with the longevity of "other" high output traditional bulbs - and since this is a first impression, I'll have to wait to see how that plays out - but given PIAA's reputation and overall product quality, I don't expect any issues.
The only problem is that my fog lights seems a little "dull" in comparison - so now I have to replace my H1 fog lights with something as nice and satisfying as these...
Final verdict: 5 stars for initial impression and illumination.

I replaced my Sylvania bulbs with these for Low Beams and these are just great!
Good vision, white light, great coverage and none of that 'dingy' blue hue...
I also bought/used the PIAA 9005 Intense White High Beam bulbs.....
