Good sun protection but still need to use vizors September 21, 2009

This sunshade provides good sun protection but is not firm enough. So I still use my vizors to hold it.

nothing holds the sunshade against the windshield .. the ends curled after 3 of 4 uses as the material used is thin and light. I don't think it will last for more than a month !!

Ends of the sunshade curls in August 5, 2009

Dimensions: Length: 56" x Width: 23". Material is reflective with foam backing. A black elastic band and a velcro strap are available to hold it in place when not in use. Since the material is thin, the ends of the sunshade curl in which leaves parts of my windshield unshaded. I also find it difficult to keep it in place underneath the visors in my Corolla. It keeps sliding down.

Guess I got what I paid for. I'm going to look for a thicker and sturdier one. I would return it but since it's so cheap $3.99, it's not worth the trouble and hassle.

This sunshade is only 23 inches tall. It would be nice if the dimensions were posted. It's way too small to stay put in either my 1998 Dodge Neon or 2008 Honda Accord, even with the visors down. Measure your windshield first to see if it will fit. If you're not sure, it's probably better to shop at a local store so returns are easy. At least it was only a few bucks :) Other than that, it's a soft, reflective shade.

This has been a really helpful product for us. It cuts down on the amount of heat in our Corolla and for the price it's great. Folding it back up is a little clumsy. But you get used to it and it's not bad. If you try rolling it up it's bulkier.
It is very flexible and it feels like it will fall off the windshield. But so far it has stayed-put even with the windows open. I may attach some ties on the edges to make it more versatile but it's really worked for our small car at least.
