The Film that Cures Fear About CancerAnyone who wants to eliminate the fear that comes with being diagnosed with cancer need only watch Ian Jacklin's new documentary. It's not because the film offers guarantees or silver-bullet cures for this deadly disease. It's not because it delves into the latest medical research or breakthroughs. Rather, as the film progresses, it becomes more and more obvious that a large number of inexpensive treatments with high cure rates are available to any person who's willing look beyond the oncologist's office. The film shares the same title as the Web site that promotes it. The "i" stands for any individual who takes the responsibility to gather the information that will allow him to make informed choices about the best treatments - conventional and alternative - available. The message of the movie is that only you can cure yourself of cancer. As a nurse, I have seen the devastating and deteriorating side effects of conventional medicinal treatments for cancer. Chemotherapy, just to name one, has not only debilitating side effects, such as nausea, vomiting, malaise, fatigue and weight loss, but also impairing effects on immunity, "good cells" and overall quality of life. I was fortunate to be able to attend a screening of "icurecancer.com" in a local theater. The film included physicians, both western medicine and homeopathic, and cancer survivors who share their stories and success on curing themselves. It is a true eye opener and a must see for anyone who has had, has or knows someone who has cancer. The film gives much insight to the fact that, there are other cancer curing modalities other than western medicine. You do have a choice. Know your options!
