 Beat up my kindle, case protects August 4, 2009

I beat up my kindle on a daily basis. I take the bus to work everyday and toss it in my bag before i leave. The case protects it from dents, scratches and cracks. Looks good, feels nice and keeps my kindle kind. thanks!

I switched over to this case after the official Amazon case cracked my kindle (I got a new one). I've been using this case for about a week, and here are my thoughts:
Pros: Looks nice, slim design, holds Kindle very securely in place, has a flap inside for papers, has a pen-holder, the cover itself is pretty solid/inflexible.
Cons: The inside isn't padded or cushioned at all, and I worry a bit that it will scratch the kindle eventually (this hasn't happened yet). The lining of the case FEELS cheap. The strap that fastens the case is somewhat difficult to line up, and the cover sometimes moves while fastened so it is slightly askew (i.e., not totally lined up with the back cover). There are some dents in the cover now; supposedly from being beat up in my purse all week.
In all, this cover seems fine, and the Kindle hasn't suffered any damage, but I'm contemplating getting a heftier case that would give me more piece of mind.
