I purchased Traumeel in anticipation of a major pelvic surgery. My doctor was skeptical of me taking it before surgery, but told me to feel free to do so afterwards. I began taking it the evening of my surgery, and took it 3x a day. My recovery was/is amazing. At my 2 week post-operative visit, my doctor was amazed at a. my lack of pain b. my lack of swelling and c. my incision healing rate. He went online to research it and will likely recommnd to patients going forward.

I purchased this after reading about it as a homeopathic anti-inflammatory. I have been taking it as prescribed and have not noticed a significant reduction in pain. (shoulder problems). However, I'm still sticking with it because I want to make sure I give it adequate time to work...and in all honesty, my shoulder problems have been going on for years. I don't expect they will go away overnight.
I think its worth trying....just be realistic in your expectations.

Our vet recommended this for our dog who has arthritis. Guess even humans can take it. It really helps her and am glad we were told about it.

I was initially given this alternative medicine analgesic/anti-imflammatory to give to my under one year old dachshund puppy who recently suffered a grade 4 patella luxation in her right hind knee. The Vet special surgeon gave me a pharmaceutical drug for her pain and imflammation called metricam or something like that but we ran out and I continuted with Traumeel. The doctor wanted my dog to continue maturing in age up until she is a year old prior to doing the corrected surgery, however, he wanted her to still use the muscles to prevent athrophe. Well, my pup is using the leg with guarded weight distribution, we will be getting her surgery in March this year, and, with continued use of this natural med, she has no swelling or pain.
One caution: I noticed she was mopey after taking the drug and would not eat and I think it was because her stomach was getting upset so I give her a doggy treat along with the pill. Mind you, I can't get her to sit still to disolve the pill under her tongue as stipulated on the instruction but she just crunches it and swallows it down. I'm just happy it's getting into her system however way she takes it, and,it's doing a great bit of good until her surgery in March.
At the good price I got this item and if arthritis becomes an issue with her, I will turn to this product instead of a pharmaceutical synthetic. I understand it's good for humans too, hmmmmmmmmm with my arthitis perhaps I'll give it a try too.
