This product really relieved alot of stress for my husband and I. I tried it myself first just too make sure my child would not get sick. we had tried another product but, made her very sick. After a couple of days she is no longer putting her fingers in her mouth. We owe it all to Mavala, thanks it really works.

We tried this on our son to stop his constant finger sucking. He is three, and his teeth have already started shifting. The first night was awful, and nobody slept. The second night he cried again. The third night, he was sucking his finger even with the Mavala, and I thought I must have one of those extremely stubborn kids I've been reading about.
I waited a few weeks and applied it again, and the second time around it worked like a charm. It's been about a month now, and the habit appears to be cured, so we're happy with the product.

I purchased this product!! I've tried many, many products in hopes something could help my nails grow, stop the tremendous peeling, and breakage right at my quick. This was my last resort and when reading the reviews I really thought to myself, whatever we'll see. I've never seen anything like. It's so amazing that I bought this very brand names polishes and my nails have never looked better!! No more acrylics!! YEEEAAAAH!! I have been a fingernail chewer for 29 years! I did a bit of research and decided to try this. After 2 weeks, I was amazed as I stopped applying the stuff and only occasionally applying it.
This is also the first Amazon review I have ever written as I would recommend this to anyone. I will also agree with other users of this product is to be aware with finger foods or what your nails brush up against.
The worst example of this was when I was in an airport and my nails accidentally touched the cap or the mouth of a water bottle! I soon became aware as its a bitter, nasty taste you wont forget. It was finally gone though after eating dinner!
That said, it is worth it and for me it worked wonders. Great product.

The product tasted really really bad. My daughter hated it so much that she felt like throwing up the first time we applied it to her nails. We wanted to get rid of her finger sucking habit. Looked like it worked during the first 2 days but then she stopped worrying about the taste and started sucking her fingers more. Guess she understood we were trying to get rid of her bad habit and so started doing it more. Might be its good for older people biting finger nails but not so good for 2 year old kids.
