Great Item, Terrible Packaging July 17, 2008

I am very excited about the product -- I believe it will be a great substitute for our family in place of sugar!! However, I couldn't believe the horrible packaging job. These two glass bottles, with no protection around either of them, had spent their shipping time banging into each other and rolling all over this much too large cardboard box with a few airpacks resting on top (lot of good that was doing) -- I'm amazed they didn't break!!!!! I'm disappointed in the quality of workmanship of the packaging department!

I'm used to using Sweet-N-Low or Equal to sweeten my iced tea, both of which I do like. I wanted to try Stevia because it was more 'natural'. I've tried the Stevita Stevia in the individual packets and liked it better than this because I didn't notice an aftertaste. This liquid stevia really has an aftertaste. I also tried using less (quantity) because I thought maybe that was the problem, but then I didn't feel like the tea was as sweet as I like it. I won't buy this kind again. I'm mixing it with Equal to cover up the aftertaste, just to get it used up.

My wife and I really like this stevia product especially for sweetening drinks. It's a great price for a great product...very sweet with minimal to no after taste. On the downside, however, the packaging was substandard. The four bottles we ordered were packaged in a larger-than-necessary box with no packaging material. They were just rolling around banging against each other. Thankfully none of them broke. I know I'm not the first customer to log this. Hopefully Amazon will catch wind of this and change their packaging policy.
