Features:

•	Composed of a durable plastic, the Table Mate will support up to 50 pounds. It has an ample working surface (18in L by 24in W), large enough to accommodate most projects and tasks. There is a graduated rim on all sides to help prevent things from sliding off when the Table Mate is tilted.
•	The Table Mate can be used as a nightstand to hold a telephone, lamp, clock, tissues or radio or as a laptop computer stand. You can even place it on your bed to use as a dining tray to have meals in bed.
•	The Table Mate folds to an almost flat position so it can be stored underneath or beside your couch. Lightweight and mobile, you can easily move it over to you whenever you need it.

Convenient To Use But The Top Warps Easily November 17, 2008

The top is all plastic and even though it's rated to hold up to 50 lbs., you'll notice it sags in the middle with as little as a 7 pound laptop on it (that's what I use it for).

I'd give it 5 stars for convenience if it weren't for this and the fact that the TableMate website has NO contact telephone number - and does NOT respond to e-mails inquiring about a replacement top - it's supposed to have a lifetime warranty against breakage, bending, etc.

Mine has developed a permanent warp to the point that my mouse won't even lay flat. A steel shim molded into the top's perimeter lip would have made for a much more rigid design.
