| Editorial Reviews:
Album Description 22 track collection spotlighting Connie's ability to successfully tackle both country and rock 'n roll. Although Connie is best known for easy listening hits like 'Where The Boys Are' and 'Who's Sorry Now', her recorded output since the late '50s has tackled nearly every style under the sun including big band, ethnic, soul and more. Even today she remains one of the biggest selling female artists of all time. This collection features 'Home On The Range', 'My Wild Irish Rose', 'Love Is Strange', 'Early In The Morning', 'Rave On', 'That'll Be The Day', 'Down In The Valley' and more. Delta. 2006.
Album Details Includes "Home on the Range" and "You Tell Me Your Dream".

| Customer Reviews: LITTLE BIT OF COUNTRY December 21, 2009 A. Cullen (NEWINGTON CT)
THIS IS AN EXCELLENT CD, CONNIE IS SUCH A GOOD SINGER THAT ALL OF HER CDS ARE GREAT NO MATTER IF ITS COUNTRY POP OR ROCK
UNUSUAL ANTHOLOGY AND A BIT ODD May 29, 2007 Terry D. Robertson (Asheville, NC USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I gave this CD 5 stars for sheer audacity of material. The "Little Bit Country" is culled from her 1961 Brylcreem promo release for her one and only TV Special that contains, not country, but vintage American folk songs. "The Little Bit Rock N Roll" is derived from selections of her UK CD tribute to Buddy Holly. It may appear a bit jarring to go from "Down In The Valley" to "Rave On" and a bit impossible to pull off. But only a singer of Ms. Francis' caliber has accomplished this offbeat task. Connie was not in good voice when she recorded the Holly tribute (due to illness), but it is nonetheless, a sincere attempt.
The real value for collectors is the selections from the obscure Bryclcreem promo making it way to CD for the first time. The cover is lifted from her first UK EP "It Would Be Worth it".
And this set is definitely worth a listen to. Strange, but engaging.
