2008 reissue. Ratt broke out of the L.A. Pop Metal scene and into the big time with its 1984 debut, Out Of The Cellar, an album full of Rock guitar riffs, sexual innuendo, and pop gloss production. Invasion Of Your Privacy came almost exactly a year later, and the album attempted to replicate the previously winning formula. MTV helped bolster the band's profile once again, with constant airings of "Lay it Down" and "You're in Love." Other Pop Rock standouts included "Never Use Love," "What You Give Is What You Get," and "Dangerous But Worth the Risk." Invasion Of Your Privacy helped solidify Ratt's standing as one of the top acts to come out of the 1980s L.A. Glam Metal scene.

This record is a sample of their work, when they were very hot, at the time. Great low price, but not remastered.

After there breakthrough "Out of the Cellar", Ratt were still hungry for more and so they returned with "Invasion of your Privacy".
The album takes everything that made "Out of the Cellar" such a hit and turns it up just a bit. It has better crafted songs, more of a streamlined (glossier) production, and overall balanced quality.
All the songs are amazing, and it is the perfect 80's metal album, it just Rocks on all cylinders, not much of a review here, just buy the album! =)

Out of the Cellar is a great album and features a lot of hit songs. The guitar work and song writing were even better on this album and featuring a bit more edge while maintaining the melodic vocal hooks from Out of the Cellar. This is my favorite Ratt album and a must have for any Ratt aficionado.

Ratt at their best with one of the best rock songs i've heard, "you're in love." Great vocals and riffy guitars, it doesn't get much better than this,one of Ratts best album to date, in my opinion.

Besides the obvious killer hits from this great release, the other songs just crank with brilliance from Warren De Martini - imo one of the best guitarists from the hair metal genre. Between The Eyes is a personal favorite with pretty much all songs here that are enjoyable repeatedly that capture the essence of one of the best metal bands money can buy.
