Happy Hubby October 6, 2008 G. Mukoyama (New Jersey) My husband has never used an electric shaver before, but I bought him this one because of the reviews and because he has been afraid of nicking himself with the razor. He is very pleased with it. And I am happy he doesn't look half shaven!!!!
Doesn't Shave at all! October 4, 2008 ShaverGuy This shaver is very poor quality. I'm 18 and have very light facial hair (I only have to shave about once a week). This shaver didn't shave anything at all! I tried it with shaving gel, without, water, and dry. I ended up only with a bunch of cuts and no shorter facial hair.
I ended up cleaning everything up with my Schick Quattro. Stay away from this product; you get what you pay for.
One Cool Little Razor... August 18, 2008 Robert M. Gaul (Ft. Wayne, Indiana United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I've used electrics for decades, and have always been fond of the name BRAUN. This mighty "mite" doesn't disappoint! My old corded Braun gave up the ghost after 15+ years of daily use, which is not too bad, but I then had to rely on cordless razors. While my "standard" razor is a Remington rechargeable, this sweetheart of a mini-razor is simply beyond belief. With only TWO AA batteries, it can take on MY stubble, and that tasks the best of the cordlesses on a good day. The micro screen is slick and glides across the face, and even makes negotiating those "turns" easier (along the neck & jawline). I would have to say that if I were out camping, or even in the military doing some bivouac, THIS IS the razor to use! It's easy to replace the batteries, has a great sideburn trimmer, has an auto lock swivel top to keep the head protected, and is overall a finely engineered razor. I'm kind of amazed at the design. It's years beyond all comers. It's not as quiet as other electrics, but you have to sacrifice something for the power it displays, so that's not a biggie. It IS quieter than most CORDED shavers. My Remington is MUCH noisier, so this is a welcome addition to my arsenal of shaving ordnance. I recommend it to everyone that needs a good razor, and has little room to carry one. It's one of the better deals in new technologies these days, dollar for dollar.

Works great! June 8, 2008 Ryan Pomplun (North Dakota) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I don't shave my face, I grow my beard - but I use this thing every day on my head, which is arguably more difficult to shave closely - and this thing keeps it smoothly sheared. I have absolutely no complaints about it, I couldn't be happier. I'm using Energizers and this thing shows no signs of slowing down after over a month. To give yet more of an idea, I'm a bit obsessive when it comes to shaving, I keep going and going until I hear no (or very few) hairs being cut, so occasionally I'm probably running this thing for almost 20 minutes in a session. I'm also really fussy about how stuff works, and have no tolerance for junk, so I can tell you to buy one of these with confidence:)
Good shave, great design and great value December 17, 2007 D. Halverson (Houston TX USA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I have 4 types of travel shavers, all run on AA batteries. Of the 4 (Axis AX-1300, Remington Travel Shaver, Bell & Howell travel shaver, and Braun 370 Travel shaver) the Braun gives the 2nd best shave (beat by the Remington) but is by far the best built and designed shaver. The case is attached to the shaver body and when closed blocks the on/off switch. The trimmer is handy and works well. While not a great shave it is good for the price of the shaver It is a good value given the price. The only downside is the shave is only OK. I use the Remington as my day-to-day shaver but use the Braun as my travel shaver due to its excellent design. The Axis 1300 is used the least used and at 3x - 4x the price the poorest value. The Bell & Howell is very light weight, gives an OK shave but was dirt cheap.
