I am 47 years old and I just love Latin dance. When I first got the videos it was not love at first sight. There is a huge dancing stomach in the middle of the screen and my kids (6 and 8yrs) screamed with laughter. It was embarrassing and more than a little distracting. The second time around I learned to ignore the undulating waist and starting learning the moves. It is a very strenuous workout and the moves are intricate and fast. (I was truly afraid of breaking furniture and bones) This is a dancer video but I find it challenging and fun. I only use the first video and I'm soaking wet by the end of the 55 minutes. I love the challenge. I will never have a waistline like the girls on the DVD but I am looking forward to a day when I shake and bake with no earth quakes!

Good Videos if you need to work out on that Rainy day when you can't walk or run. Dance moves are very fast, so you need to have a lot of rhythm and pay attention to the instructions. Great Workout!

This 4DVD set is just what I needed to get my butt back in gear.
I loved Tae Boe but now have tendinitis in my hip(years of doing the repetitive kicks I guess).
I was looking for something to work up a sweat and be as much fun as Tae Boe. This is it for me! I love to dance so I've picked up most of the movements quickly. I can see for some it could be a challenge,especially the walking shimmy's. But hang in there, you'll get it. This is just what the doctor ordered for getting back into shape and having some fun at the same time. No floor excercises!!! A bonus as far as I'm concerned.
The only reason I am giving this 4 stars... is that I wish there were more DVD's to select from. I'm already getting a little tired of mine and need more to challenge me further. I'm used too lots of variety so I'm hoping there's more on the way.

Overall, i think that the videos are of the quality i expected, but the content is a bit different. I expected more of a dance based exercise than it is. However, the videos seem to be working.

I was excited to get the DVDs but on the Kick Start DVD the last section did not display at all and there was a bit of freeze framing with the previous section. I did see those negative review comments but didn't think they would continue selling these poor quality DVDs. Also, read the return policy before you order from this seller. I will need to email them for a RMA# and return address, lose the shipping cost and pay for the return postage and lose out on a 30% restocking fee (does that mean they will reshrink wrap and sell this item again?!
This is an addendum to my review. When I emailed the vendor, they responded quickly that they would replace my Kick Start DVD and suggested that my DVD player may need to be cleaned. I tried the DVD on my portable DVD player and it played fine, but not on my Panasonic. So, I can't fault the vendor and to some degree the DVD is not exactly defective. I would stay with the one star in my review for the inconvenience and unless you are quite fit, the fast movements may not work for you...it doesn't for me.
