The Original Bedside Co-Sleeper is a unique creation that allows you and your baby to sleep safely and comfortably next to each other from the moment you both come home. Whether you choose to breastfeed or bottle-feed your baby, the Co-Sleeper enables you to reach over and draw your baby close for feeding without disturbing the warmth and security of either of your beds. Attached to your bed under the mattress, the Co-Sleeper is securely strapped in place and it easily connects to any size bed, including the California King adult bed. By folding up and fitting into a nylon carry bag with a sturdy handle, the Co-Sleeper is portable and able to fit into the overhead compartment of most commercial airlines.
The Original Bedside Co-Sleeper can be converted to a bassinet that holds up to 30 lbs or until your baby can roll from side to side. The Co-Sleeper also converts into a handsome and sturdy play yard with a double trampoline floor and industry-approved safety locking arms. Not intended for use by children old enough to climb out.
The Original Bedside Co-Sleeper includes co-sleeper frame (natural frame with the natural, tan gingham and pink gingham liners and blue frame with the blue gingham liner), one short liner in either deluxe natural, tan gingham, blue gingham or pink gingham fabric (click on large picture for fabrics), one cotton fitted sheet, one inch mattress pad and fits beds 24" high. If your bed is higher than 24", you can purchase Leg Extension Kits. A friend gave us this co sleeper. It was easily assembled by my brother and me. I have not traveled with it and disassembled it, so I can't speak of how it is to disassemble. My daughter breastfeeds every 2 hours and this product is great!! My husband is not a fan of the family bed, so this product helps him feel better about co sleeping. We did add a pack and play mattress. That did help make it more cozy for our daughter! I reccomend this item to any new parents!!

I have not used mine yet because my baby is not ready to meet he world, but I have put it together. It was pretty easy to put together. The mattress is harder than I would prefer but we will see if she likes it.

I'm so thankful I purchased this. My son is three weeks old and prefers to be right next to me, but half the time I can get him to sleep in the co-sleeper. One thing I like, even without him in it, is the fact that I can move more to my right (i sleep on the right side) since the bed is there. It's actually given us more room in our bed. If I could do it over again I "might" have purchased the mini because it is big, but I'm not complaining. We plan on keeping our son in our room until he's a good six months. I didn't feel good about getting the mini when I won't know my sons weight and measurements that far ahead.

After reading some of the other reviews which stated that this product was difficult to assemble, I was a little wary. However, it couldn't have been easier to remove from the box, and reconfigure for the co-sleeper option. Perhaps Arm's Reach has redesigned the co-sleeper, and re-written the instructions, but I found them easy to understand. All in all, it took my husband and I about 20 minutes to get it configured as a co-sleeper.
I only gave this product 4 stars because we have a high bed, and need to use all 3 of the extenders for each leg. The co-sleeper is quite wobbly at this point, but we also do not have it "strapped" to the opposite side of the bed quite yet. I think once we do that, it will be very secure.
Others have commented on the firmness of the mattress. It is true that it is basically a thin piece of particle board covered with some thin padding, but I think anything more would have made it unsafe for young babies to sleep. The sheet that comes with the co-sleeper fits over this mattress very well.
I am looking forward to using this co-sleeper for our twin boys!

Although the premise of this product is fabulous, the manufacturer does not deliver a well executed unit.
Difficult assembly is a minor detail as the mattress is as hard as a rock. UNLESS, you want to purchase the upgraded organic mattress for $150.00 and I didn't even spend that much on my crib mattress!
Don't waste your money!
