Teeli makes a fine wire basket that helps you get the most out of bulk tea. Their fine mesh keeps bits of tea leaves from getting into your cup of tea. Bulk tea is of much higher quality than tea in tea bags, not only is it higher quality, it often is less expensive when purchased in bulk. There is also another advantage of using your brew basket is that you can steep the leaves more than once.

Teeli wire basket is well designed, the lid can be used to rest the basket in so tea does not leak all over the place once you make your cup of tea. The basket also holds up well in the top rack of the dishwasher. This has been one of my favorite purchases when it comes to tea drinking. This is the perfect purchase for yourself, or as a gift.

It's easy to use and easy to clean. Just put your favorite herbs in the basket, put the basket in the cup, pour boiling water over it, put the lid on the basket and let it steep. Great to make ginger tea (I grate fresh ginger)-- much better than store bought.

Not only was this item very reasonably priced, but it makes a lovely cup of tea, washes easily. No messy clumsy ball to try to close, plenty of room for the tea to mix with the water, easy to clean. And, the cap for it to rest on keeps drip mess to nil. It fits all normal sized mugs with a lip diameter of about 3.75 inches. I have some bigger mugs, but I am crafty and got it to work with them too my making a wire holder for it to sit over the bigger mugs. XD

This medium basket with lid/drip tray is great for brewing loose tea in a cup and fits perfectly in most of the Bee House teapots which baskets don't have mesh as fine as I like.
