This is a fantastic thermos, especially considering the price! It keeps drinks warm for a reasonably long time, and is dishwasher safe. And, unlike some termoses (thermoses? thermosi? nevermind) that I've used in the past, this one doesn't fall apart after two runs through the dishwasher, or let liquid seep into the insulation so that after two weeks you start getting a vaguely disturbing smell that you can't identify or clean out. I prefer the silver one, because I thinks it's a "sleeker" look, but that's just a matter of preference.

I got this Copco thermal travel mug on a business trip after forgetting to bring my usual travel mug. It was just ok for the short term, and I have tried using it in my main travel mug rotation, but I really hate it. The slide-open drink hole is the hardest thing to get open if it gets shut. I end up throwing coffee out the top when it finally lets loose. The needed air-hole doesn't really line up where it needs to so the one swig is all you get until you turn it upright again and air can get back in. I've tried just using it around the house without the lid (I really hate that lid!) and it always felt like it was leaking where the plastic top rim and inside stainless steel met--it was like a dribble glass. The last time I used it for hot tea, this same stupid plastic rim-meets stainless leaked and water got INSIDE the plastic outside part! Now I have this ooky water sloshing around that I can see from the outside but cannot get out!!! Was too expensive for the few uses I have gotten out of it and the annoyance it has been. Nothing has beaten my ALL stainless starbucks mug yet, dishwasher safe, no slidie parts to the lid, no gaps or leaks, keeps drink hot hot hot. I thought Copco was a better brand than it really is--this mug is not worth the hassle.

I love this mug. I bought this one and the blue one on a whim and am pleased with the look, heft, and capacity of both. I love that it fits decently in my car's cupholders, which are under the dash, and stay very leak-proof. My only regret is that they are not dishwasher safe, but otherwise they are fantastic. If you're on the edge of buying one of Copco's mugs, go for it.
